- Flax seed (ground) is a significant source of essential Omega-3 fatty acids. - Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is an organosulfur compound that serves as a supplemental source of sulfur and when used in conjunction with glucosamine and chondroitin has been shown to help prevent osteoarthritis. I started using Flex Steps Pellets because the store where I bought it was out of plain MSM. I figured it couldn’t hurt. After about two weeks, my trainer had commented on how she thought my horse was looking sounder. Two weeks later she commented on how nice his canter was and that he was holding a canter much longer. She then asked me if I changed supplements. It hit me that yeah, I did. I told her that I had switched to Flex Step. She said that it was really working, and I have to agree.
